Settling Jamestown, Virginia was a hard job for Captain John Smith.  But, it was easy compared to the journey to the New World. Even the efforts of a top notch cruise director can not lessen the wrath of gentleman traveler Edward Wingfield or save poor Mr. Frye  from passing on with a chamber pot on his head, to say nothing of the chicken. Captain Smith's crossing does not improve when he is clapped in irons and must sing for his release.

Are We There Yet?

The journey to Jamestown that never was!

Note:  The Susan Constant sailed in December 1607 with Smith and Wingfield on board.  Other than that, we promise no historical accuracy.
